Midlands Finals on Big Ten Network Tuesday Night

EVANSTON, Ill. - Central Michigan sophomore Mike Miller (Uniontown, Ohio/Uniontown Lake HS) has advanced to the 174-pound finals at the 2008 Midlands Championships.

Miller, seeded fifth in the 174-pound bracket, will face No. 3 seed Mike Cannon (American) in the championship match Tuesday night. The Big Ten Network is televising the Midlands finals beginning at 8 p.m.

Miller advanced to the finals via a 6-3 decision over No. 1 seed Jay Borschel (Iowa). CMU's last individual champion at Midlands was Wynn Michalak, who won the 197-pound title as a sophomore in 2005.
