Chan Competes in State Farm National Three-Point Championship

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. -- Sharp shooter Angel Chan showcased Central Michigan University basketball on a national stage Thursday night, competing in the State Farm College Three-Point Shootout at The Palace of Auburn Hills.
The event, which included men's and women's three-point shootouts and a slam dunk contest, was held in conjunction with the men's Final Four being played at Ford Field this weekend.
Chan connected for 14 points in the opening round of the contest, narrowly missing out on advancing to the competition's second round by a single point.
There were eight competitors in the field, with the top four scores advancing to the second round. Complete results will be available later tonight.
Chan sank a program-best 92 threes during her senior season at CMU.
