Chippewas Show Well at Hillsdale Relays

HILLSDALE, Mich. - Three women’s track and field team members completed day one of the HIllsdale relays.

The maroon and gold hit very good marks in their events some include, Brittany Dixon in the steeplechase (third place, 11:19.66), Charity Sunderman in the hammer throw (fourth place (166-11) and Norianna Brown in the shot put (fifth place, 46-1 1/2).

Other Chippewas placing on the day were Mykal Imbrock in the hammer (162-3, seventh place), Tanisha Johnson in the high jump (5-5, fifth place), Katie McColly in the long jump (18-11 , fourth) and Megan Wilson also in the high jump (18-3 , eighth).

The maroon and gold’s 4x800m relay team of Kylee Kubacki, Charnele Lyons, Clare Tamez and Allie Sisson took second place with a time of 9:22.01.

The Chippewas will be back in action tomorrow morning.
