Chippewas Finish Day Two of Oregon Relays

EUGENE, Ore. - The Chippewas finished day two of the Oregon Relays on the west coast.
Coming out strong for the Chippewas were Cara Dukes and Erika Schroll who both took first in their respected events. Dukes paced the field in the 400m (56.33) and Schroll led all performers in the high jump (5-7 ).
Other notable CMU performers were Stephanie Hurley who posted a personal best 57.30 to finish second in the 400m (57.30), Stephanie Byrne also posted a strong mark in the 400m (eighth, 58.95), Allison Jakubowski in the javelin throw (eighth, 133-3), Danielle Dakroub setting a new personal best in the 800m (2:15.51) taking 11th and Raeanne Lohner also in the 800m with a time of 2:16.16 which was good for 12th place.
Central returns to action next weekend at the Jesse Owens Classic in Columbus, Ohio.
