MOUNT PLEASANT - Season and single-event ticket orders are now being accepted for the 2010-11 Central Michigan wrestling season.
Tickets can be purchased over the phone at 1-888-FIRE-UP2 or online at CMUChippewas.com.
Reserved season tickets are available in section 105 at McGuirk Arena. Price is $30 per seat, plus a $10 facility fee. The reserved season ticket price reflects a savings of $20 compared to purchasing single-event tickets for each of CMU's five home matches this season.
Chippewa Athletic Fund members who donate to the wrestling program have the exclusive opportunity to purchase one of 30 mat-side seats. Mat-side season tickets are $45 per seat, plus a $10 facility fee.
On Jan. 30, CMU will host a combined wrestling and gymnastics event at McGuirk Arena. Season ticket holders will be provided the best available upper-bowl seating for this event, as the floor configuration will require all lower-bowl seating to be retracted.
Single-event tickets also are available for each of CMU's five home matches. Chair-back seats are available for $10 for adults and $7 for youth/seniors, while bleacher seats are available for $8 for adults and $5 for youth/seniors. All single-event tickets have a facility fee built into the price.
CMU's first home wrestling event in McGuirk Arena is Jan. 16, when the No. 5 Chippewas host No. 13 Michigan.
