Women's Basketball On TV Against Ball State

CLEVELAND, Ohio - The Mid-American Conference has announced the men's and women's basketball broadcast schedule for its television partners for the 2011-12 season. The Central Michigan University women's team will be featured on SportsTime Ohio (STO) in its game against Ball State on Feb. 19. All 12-conference schools will be on at least once.
In addition to the 10-game regular-season women's basketball slate, STO also will air the First Energy MAC Tournament semifinals and championship. The semifinals are set for Friday, March 9, at noon and 2:30 p.m. in Cleveland, Ohio. The league tournament championship game will start at 1:00 p.m. the following day, Saturday, March 10, at Quicken Loans Arena.
Games will also be made available in the MAC footprint via Comcast Michigan (channel 900), Comcast Indiana (channel 81) and Comcast Sports Net Chicago. Check your local listings for game times and local availability.
In all, the MAC television schedule includes a total of 35 men and women's games produced and distributed by STO. STO's Mike Cairns will provide the play-by-play coverage of the women's basketball broadcasts, with Jackie Windon serving as the analyst.
The MAC Women's Basketball Preview show will also air on Monday, December 12, at 6:30 p.m.
The Chippewas will begin their season on November 11, when they welcome Big Ten opponent Northwestern to town for Hoops for Hunger in the 12 p.m. tipoff.
