Niki DiGuilio made her 34th straight career start. She has started every game of her career dating back to her freshman season last year.
Freshmen, Jessica Green, Crystal Bradford and Kerby Tamm all made their first career start.
Head Coach Sue Guevara started four freshmen and a sophomore for the first time this season.
Freshman Leah Scott saw her first minutes as a Chippewa during the game. She finished the night with four points in 14 minutes of play.
DiGuilio hit her first three pointer in a first half of play at the 12:04 point. She also hit her first jumper of the season during the second half of play.
Brandie Baker scored her first basket of the season with 14:14 left to play in the second half. Baker is now 3-20 on the season with seven total points.
Bradford recorded her first double-double on the season with 11 rebounds and 18 points.
A freshman has now led CMU in scoring in all three games this season (Bradford 14 vs. Northwestern, Bracey 21 at Robert Morris, Bradford 18 at Pittsburgh)
For the second straight game the Chippewas have had a player record a double-double. Bracey recorded her first double-double in the loss to Robert Morris on Friday night.
CMU shot a season high 40 percent (6-15) from three point range, while scoring their season best 70 points.
The Chippewas are now 0-3 for the first time since 2009-10 when the began the season 0-5.
