The 19 rebounds by Kaihla Szunko tied the Mid-American Conference tournament record for a single game, set a new career high and tied her for the fourth-most in CMU history. She moved into No. 2 on CMU's single-season chart and within two of becoming the third 1,000 rebound player in CMU history.

The 10 made field goals by Kaihla Szunko pushed her from ninth on the CMU single-season chart up to fourth with 192.

Kaihla Szunko now has 20 double-doubles this season, 43 in her career. She also cracked 20 points for the ninth time this season, 17th in her career.

Head coach Sue Guevara said following Friday's loss to Bowling Green that she believes the Chippewas will receive a bid to the WNIT. The selection for that tournament takes place late on Monday, March 14, via its website womensnit.com.

Kaihla Szunko now has 75 steals on the season, moving into a three-way tie for No. 6 on the single-season chart.
