Chippewas Conclude Competition at Alex Wilson Invite

SOUTH BEND, Ind. - Central Michigan has completed its second day of competition at the Alex Wilson Invitational at Notre Dame.
Renaldo Powell , Jordan Dunn and Brittnee Shreve represented the maroon and gold in the sprints on Saturday.
Powell advanced to the finals of the 60m hurdles, where he finished third with a time of 8.22. He ran 8.25 in the prelims to advance to the finals.
Dunn ran 7.76 in the 60m prelims but did not advance to the finals. Shreve competed in both the 60m and 60m hurdles, but did not advance in either event. She ran 7.74 in the 60m and 8.84 in the hurdles.
The Alex Wilson Invitational concludes the indoor season for most of the Chippewas. Thrower Kevin Mays will learn Monday if his mark of 67-6 1/4 will advance him to the NCAA Indoor Championships.
