Ribant, McCullough Compete on Day Two of Regionals

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Ryan McCullough and Maddie Ribant competed in the second day of competition at the NCAA Division I East Region Preliminaries Friday.

McCullough took 15th of 48 competitors with a hammer toss of 198-1. The  Cadillac, Mich. junior posted his best mark on the third throw. McCullough will compete in the discus with teammate Alex Rose tomorrow.

Sophomore Maddie Ribant took 14th in her 3,000m steeple heat, 36th overall. She finished with a time of 10:53.82.

Rose and McCullough are the lone Chippewas competing at the East Regionals tomorrow, both in the discus. Check back to cmuchippewas.com for complete results following the completion of the meet.
