MAC Tournament Bracket Finalized

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. - The Central Michigan women's basketball team has earned the fifth seed in the upcoming Mid-American Conference Tournament and will square off against No. 12 Ball State at 2 p.m. in McGuirk Arena on Saturday, March 3.
Bowling Green locked up the tournament's No. 1 seed, with a 91-48 win over Kent State Tuesday night, and will receive a bye until the third round. Eastern Michigan claims the No. 2 seed and will also have a bye to the semifinals. Toledo is the third seed with Miami claiming the fourth seed and will both will be off until the quarterfinals.
There will be three other first-round games,
No. 11 Buffalo at No. 6 Akron
No. 10 Western Michigan at No. 7 Northern Illinois
No. 9 Kent State at No. 8 Ohio
The winner of the Central Michigan versus Ball State game will face the winner of Ohio versus Kent State in the second round at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland Wednesday, March 7 at noon.
