Brackets Released for NCAA Wrestling Championships

2012 NCAA Championships Brackets
MOUNT PLEASANT - The NCAA on Wednesday released the brackets for the 2012 NCAA Championships.
Seven Central Michigan wrestlers earned automatic bids to the national tournament based on their placement at last weekend's Mid-American Conference Championships.
Ben Bennett is the No. 3 seed in the 184-pound bracket. He will face Oklahoma's Erich Schmidtke in the first round.
Joe Roth is the lone Chippewa who will face an opponent he has already met this season. Roth's first-round match is against Purdue's Camden Eppert, who Roth defeated, 4-2 in overtime, on Feb. 19.
The NCAA Championships are set for March 15-17 in St. Louis. Five Chippewas won individual titles as CMU won its 11th straight MAC Championships title last weekend.

133 Pounds: Zach Horan vs. No. 12 Bryan Ortenzio (Penn)
141 Pounds: Scott Mattingly vs. Michael Nevinger (Cornell)
157 Pounds: Donnie Corby vs. No. 12 Steven Monk (North Dakota State)
165 Pounds: Mike Ottinger vs. Coleman Gracey (Army)
184 Pounds: No. 3 Ben Bennett vs. Erich Schmidtke (Oklahoma)
285 Pounds: Peter Sturgeon vs. Kyle Frey (Drexel)
