No. 25 Chippewas Close Regular Season versus Michigan State

Mount Pleasant, Mich. - The No. 25 Central Michigan wrestling program will host its regular-season finale Saturday afternoon, playing host to in-state foe Michigan State as a part of Senior day on Saturday at 2 p.m.
The Chippewas (10-10) will have one final tune up before they head to the Mid-American Conference Championships hosted by Kent State University March 8-9.

MAC Partners with Flowrestling to Stream Championships: The Mid-American Conference announced today the 2014 MAC Wrestling Championships on Saturday, March 8 and Sunday, March 9 will be streamed live by Flowrestling. The 2014 MAC Wrestling Championships will be hosted by Kent State University. Flowrestling (www.flowrestling.org) provides the largest wrestling premium video library available on demand, as well as live wrestling events, and original wrestling productions. The fee for viewing the 2014 MAC Wrestling Championships will be $20 and provide the viewer with access to the website for an entire month.
Chippewas Enter National Rankings: After an impressive showing at the NWCA National Duals, the Chippewas have reentered the USA Today/NWCA Division I Coaches Poll at No. 25. CMU went 2-2 to finish in a tie for eighth, defeating No. 18 Illinois and No. 16 Iowa State.
MAC Announces Second February Rankings: The Mid-American Conference released its second February coaches' poll Thursday with the Chippewas slated to finish tied for fourth at the upcoming MAC Championships March 8-9. Junior Mike Ottinger (174) is the only CMU wrestler ranked atop his weight division, while senior Joe Roth (133) and sophomores Zach Horan (141) and Luke Smith (157) are No. 2, respectively.
CMU vs. MSU: CMU has won 12 straight dual meets over the Spartans and holds a 15-13 advantage in the series all time. Last season, CMU won seven matches including wins by Scott Mattingly, Ottinger and Craig Kelliher.
