Postgame Notes Central Michigan 85, Ball State 72 (OT)
February 27, 2014 - Junior Jessica Green finished with 19 points, becoming the fourth player this season to eclipse the 1,000-point plateau. Green now has 1,005 points in her career.
- CMU is just the 12th program in NCAA history to feature four 1,000-point scoreres on the same roster. Junior Crystal Bradford and seniors Niki DiGuilio and Taylor Johnson all have scored over 1,000 points as well.
- Junior Crystal Bradford matched career highs with 36 points and five three-point field goals. Bradford moved past Betsy Yonkman (1983-86) into fifth on CMU's career scoring list with 1,514 career points.
- Bradford's 36 points tied the third best effort in program history as she became the first player in program history to score at least 36 points in two separate contests.
- Bradford pulled down 16 rebounds to post her 19th double-double of the season and the 43rd of her career. She has now pulled down at least 14 rebounds in 11 games this season and scored at least 20 points in 12.
- Bradford also moved up to No. 9 on CMU's career three-point field goal list with 111, No. 4 on the career steals list with 220 and No. 10 on the career assists list with 289.
- Junior Jas'Mine Bracey pulled down a career-high 21 rebounds, becoming just the fourth player in CMU history to post 20-plus rebounds in a game. The mark tied Bradford (2/28/13 vs. Ball State) for the fourth best mark in a single game at CMU.
- Bracey also scored 11 points to record her 12th double-double of the season. The junior has posted a double-double in eight of the last 10 games.
- CMU won its fifth game of the season when trailing at halftime and its third game when trailing with less than three minutes to play. The Chippewas have erased a deficit of seven-plus points with less than three minutes to play in each of those three wins.
- Senior Taylor Johnson scored nine points and went a perfect 6-for-6 from the free-throw line in 23 minutes of play off the bench. Johnson now has 1,059 career points.
- The Chippewas dominated in the paint, holding a 40-to-18 advantage of the Cardinals. CMU also held a 56-to-42 advantage on the glass.
- CMU is just win shy of securing a triple bye to the semifinals of the MAC Tournament. A win over Toledo on Sunday would do so and also secure the first season sweep over the Rockets since 1988.
