Bradford, Turner Earn All-MAC Honors

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. - Crystal Bradford was named to the All-Mid-American Conference Women's Basketball Second Team and Da'Jourie Turner received honorable mention.
The teams were announced Monday by the league office in Cleveland.
Bradford, a senior from Detroit, battled injury throughout the season and is second in the MAC in scoring (19.6 points per game) and third in rebounding (8.6).
Bradford, who will not play in the MAC Tournament because of injury, was named to the All-MAC First Team in both 2013 and '14. She was an honorable mention as a freshman in 2012, when she was named to the league's all-freshman squad.
She leaves CMU as its all-time leading scorer and rebounder, and last season was earned the league's player of the year and defensive player of the year awards.
Turner, a junior guard, emerged as a consistent and potent scoring threat this season when she became the starter at point guard after an injury to senior Jessica Green.
She has started 19 of CMU's 29 games and is averaging 8.8 points per game on the season She has averaged 17.4 points per in the Chippewas' last five games.
