
Field Hockey Falls at Saint Louis

SAINT LOUIS - The Central Michigan field hockey team lost their final regular-season road game of the season, 1-0, to Saint Louis, Sunday, at the Billikens' Gallagher Park in a non-league game
The Chippewas slipped to 1-14.
After surrendering a first-half goal, Central held Saint Louis (2-10) to only three shots and two penalty corners in the second half. The Chippewas ended with an 8-3 advantage in penalty corners.
Saint Louis finished with a 9-8 edge in shots. CMU goalkeeper Lily Amadio made three saves.
Billikens goalkeeper Meme Dawson registered her first career shutout. Hannah Smith had the goal while Carly Kissinger and Molly Feid were credited with the assists.
CMU will return home with a Mid-American Conference matchup against Longwood on Oct. 22 at 11 a.m.
