Two Chippewas Named To MAC Academic Honor Squad

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. - Two Central Michigan student-athletes were named to the Academic All-Mid-American Conference women's basketball team.

To be eligible for the team, a student-athlete must maintain a 3.2 or better grade point average and appear in at least 50 percent of her team's games. True freshman and first-year transfers are ineligible.

The two Chippewas named to the squad were Cassie Breen and Aleah Swary. Both are sophomores.

Breen is a sport management and psychology major who carries a 3.58 grade point average; Swary is a family studies and psychology major who sports a 3.50 GPA.
