Hudson Makes It 3 Straight

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. - Central Michigan's Presley Hudson has been named the Mid-American Conference West Division Player of the Week for the third consecutive week.
Hudson, a sophomore guard, averaged 38.5 points and 4.5 assists in leading the Chippewas to a 101-92 win over Ball State and a 76-65 overtime victory at Bowling Green.
The Chippewas improved to 13-4 overall, 5-0 MAC.
Hudson, who scored a CMU women's basketball and McGuirk Arena-record 43 points in the win over Ball State made 61.5 percent of her field goal attempts (24-of-39) overall including 63.6 percent (14-of-22) from 3-point range. She tied the program record with nine 3-pointers in the win over Ball State.
Hudson followed that performance with 34 points in Saturday's victory over Bowling Green. She scored 29 of her points after halftime. She had 11 of CMU's 15 overtime points.
In MAC games, Hudson leads the MAC in scoring at 33.8 points per game and is shooting 58.7 percent (54-of-92) from the field. She has made nearly 60 percent (28-of-47) of her 3-point attempts in league games.
The Chippewas play host to Miami (Ohio) on Wednesday (7 p.m.).
