4 Chippewas In MAC Wrestling Rankings

Hildebrandt breaks into top 4 at 125 pounds
MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Four Central Michigan wrestlers appear in the Mid-American Conference individual rankings for December.
The MAC coaches rank four wrestlers in each weight class. The Chippewas are tied for fifth in the team rankings with Kent State and SIUE. Missouri, which is ranked sixth nationally, tops the MAC rankings.
Two Chippewas, Jordan Atienza and Matt Stencel, are ranked second in their respective weight classes. Atienza, a senior, wrestles at 184 pounds, while Stencel, a sophomore, is the defending MAC champion at 285.
CMU junior Logan Parks is ranked fourth at 157, and sophomore Drew Hildebrandt is ranked fourth at 125.
Atienza and Parks were ranked second and fourth, respectively, in November, while Stencel was ranked first. December marks Hildebrandt's debut in the rankings.
