Laude places 12th, Colosky 15th to lead CMU
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – Jami Laude and Bria Colosky both posted top-15 individual finishes as the Central Michigan golf team finished fifth on Sunday in the Bowling Green Dolores Black Invitational at Stone Ridge Golf Club.

"Even though today's round was the same score as yesterday's, I feel as though we played much better today," CMU coach Jim Earle said. "The conditions were a few strokes more difficult with a gusty northwest wind."
Laude, who shot 75 in Saturday's first round, posted a 77 on Sunday to finish with a 152 total and among a group tied for 12th place in the 63-player field. Colosky matched Laude's 77 after opening with a 76. She finished at 153, tied for 15th.

"Danielle played very steadily and had a very good week off the tee," Earle said.

The Chippewas, Ohio, Bowling Green, Eastern Michigan and Western Michigan – along with Kent State, Toledo, Akron, Ball State and Northern Illinois, will partake in the Mid-American Conference Championships in two weeks at Purgatory Golf Club in Noblesville, Ind.
The Chippewas finished third in the MAC Fall Preview at Purgatory in mid-October, and set a number of records in the process, including program scoring marks for 18, 36 and 54 holes.
"We have a little momentum going into the MAC Championships and the tournament will be played on a course where we obviously played very well," Earle said.
