Six Chippewas Named Academic All-MAC In Women's Basketball

Three Chippewa seniors are all repeat honorees
MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Six Central Michigan women's basketball players have been named to the Academic All-Mid-American Conference Team for the 2018-19 season.
The Chippewas tied for the second-most honorees among the league's 12 teams. Miami (Ohio) led with eight selections.
Seniors Reyna Frost, Presley Hudson and Jaeda Robinson headline the Chippewa contingent. Frost and Hudson were each named to the squad for the third consecutive year, while Robinson was so honored for the second time in her career.
Also representing CMU on the squad are junior Gabrielle Bird and sophomores Kyra Bussell and Maddy Watters. It marks the first time that those three have been named to the league's academic honor squad.
Frost is a mathematics major from Reese who carries a 3.68 grade point average; Hudson, a senior from Wayland, is a physical activity specialist with a 3.72 GPA; Robinson is a biomedical sciences major from Southfield with a 3.91 GPA; Bird is a junior exercise science major from South Lyon with a 3.57 GPA; Bussell is a sophomore exercise science major from Grand Rapids with a 3.99 GPA; and Watters is a sophomore marketing major from Rockford with a 3.95 GPA.
