Six CMU Wrestlers Earn MAC Academic Honors

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Six members of the Central Michigan wrestling team were named to the Academic All-Mid-American Conference team for the 2022-23 season.
The Chippewas named to the team with their year, major, and grade point average: Alex Cramer, junior, computer science, 3.68; Ben Cushman, senior, exercise science, 3.78; Cade Dallwitz, junior, exercise science, 3.28; Vince Perez, junior, general management, 3.66; Sean Spidle, junior, finance, 3.61; Cameron Wood, junior, sport management 3.61.
It marks the fourth consecutive year that Cushman has been so honored, and the third straight year that Perez has earned the honor.
To earn Academic All-MAC accolades, a student-athlete must carry a cumulative GPA of 3.20 or higher and have participated in 50 percent of his team's events during the 2022-23 season.
