Manners Earns Weekly MAC Award

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. -- Central Michigan's Hayley Manners was named the Mid-American Conference Field Athlete of the Week for women's track & field.

Manners, a junior from Etobicoke, Ont., Can., placed third in the long jump in the UCF Knights Invitational in Orlando, Fla., with a leap measuring 19 feet, 19 3/4 inches.

It ranks as the top long jump by a MAC student-athlete in the 2023 outdoor season and is 30th best nationally. It is also the fourth longest in CMU outdoor track & field history.
