Softball Falls in Day Two of The Spring Games

MADEIRA BEACH, Fla. – Kelsey Alexander hit her fifth home run of the season for Cetnral Michigan Softball but the Chippewas could dropped a 3-1 decision to Southeastern Louisiana on Saturday morning. With the loss, Central Michigan falls to 5-7 on the season, while SLU moves to 16-2.
Grace Lehto took the loss for the Chippewas as she pitched a complete game. Lehto struck out seven batters in the game and allowed only five hits.
Kelsey Alexander's home run and a double by Lucy Cronin were the only two hits recorded by the Chippewas.
Central Michigan will take on Coastal Carolina (9 a.m.) and Southern Indiana (2 p.m.) on Sunday, March 5.
