MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. — Central Michigan Women's Basketball alumni Jasmine Harris has been appointed as Director of Black Media for the 2024 re-election campaign of President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris.

As lead of the campaign's Black media operations, Harris will be preparing the operation's early commitment and investment to reach Black voters—a critical part of the winning coalition from the 2020 campaign.

Harris is a two-time graduate of Central Michigan University, with a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast and Cinematic Arts and a Master of Arts in Political Science, Government.

As a player, Harris was a member of the 2017 MAC regular season championship team and appeared in 48 games over two seasons—including all postseason contests of the 2015-16 and 2016-17 seasons—after transferring in from UMass Amherst.
