Mallory Camryn Named to 2025 NFHCA West Region Senior Team

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Senior Forward Mallory Camryn was named to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division I Senior Team, one of 38 honorees across Division I. The nomination marks Central Michigan's first Senior Team recognition since 2006.
Camryn led the Chippewas' in her final season with 42 points (third most in a single season all-time by a Chippewa), coming from 18 goals (third most in a single season all-time by a Chippewa) and six assists.
She earned three Mid-American Conference Offensive Player of the Week awards in 2025. Additionally, she earned a National Offensive Player of the Week award, Oct. 1, with a four goal and two assist weekend in wins over Ball State, Sept 26, and Ohio, Sept 28. She logged her second hat-trick of the season and the game-winning goal in the Ohio 5-4 overtime win on senior day.
Camryn began her collegiate career at Maine, playing two seasons with the Black Bears before transferring to Central Michigan for her junior season. In her four years playing, she logged 51 goals and 21 assists for 123 career points.
She recorded her 100th career point in a 9-6 victory over Long Island, Sept. 13, 2025, and her 50th career goal at Bellarmine in the Chippewas' regular-season MAC finale, Oct. 31, 2025.
Camryn did not miss a single game in her four-year career, playing in 75 total matches and started in all but one.
Her effort in 2025 led the Chippewas to ten wins on the season, the most by CMU since 2006, and the Chippewas first MAC Championship appearance since 2019.
