Camryn and Cogger earn Weekly Honors in Final Round of Awards

Mallory Camryn Named Offensive Player of the Week for third time in 2025, Cogger Goalkeeper of the Week for second time
CLEVELAND – Senior Forward Mallory Camryn has been named Mid-American Conference Offensive Player of the Week, and Graduate Keeper Ashley Cogger has been named Goalkeeper of the week in Tuesday's conference release.
The two upperclassmen led the Chippewas to a weekend sweep, defeating Bellarmine 3-2 in the regular season MAC finale, and Michigan State 2-1 for the first win of the in-state rivalry since 2007. The two wins push CMU to 10 on the season and earned the team a berth at the MAC tournament.
Tuesday's announcement marks the third time in 2025 Camryn has earned the award and Cogger's second.
Camryn scored twice on the weekend, once in the first five minutes of each game. Additionally, she logged an assist with a pass form near the center line to Cameron Pluciennik in the fourth quarter against the Spartans for the game winning goal. Her five points on the weekend moved her to 41 points, fourth best in the MAC.
Cogger spent the full 120 minutes in goal over the weekend, recording 8 saves on 11 shots on cage. She allowed three goals over the span, two to the Knights and one to the Spartans. Cogger stands at 139 saves, with a .781 save %, and averages 2.59 goals per game heading into the conference tournament.
The Chippewas will take on #4 James Madison in the first round of the MAC tournament, Wednesday, Nov. 5, at 11:30 a.m., the winner of the game will face #1 Miami (OH), Thursday, Nov. 6.
