Five CMU Baseball Players Named to Academic All-District Team

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. -- Five members of the Central Michigan baseball team have been named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team, announced today.
The five are Jared Hanson, Zach Knowlton, Aaron Piasecki, Nate Ross and Liam Stumpf.
In order to earn the honor, a student-athlete must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or better and have appeared in a requisite number of his team's games.
Hanson, a redshirt sophomore from Escanaba, is an exercise science major with a 3.81 GPA; Knowlton, junior, Olathe, Kan., accounting, 3.66; Piasecki, junior, Muskegon, general business administration, 3.70; Ross, a redshirt junior, Jenison, general management, 3.77; Stumpf, redshirt junior, Dodgeville, Wis., general management, 3.63.
