Field Hockey’s Mallory Camryn wins Second MAC Offensive Player of the Week

Camryn reaches 100 career points on three goals against Colgate and LIU
CLEVELAND – Senior forward Mallory Camryn earned her second career Mid-American Conference Player of the Week Tuesday.
Camryn recorded six points on the weekend in wins over Colgate Friday and LIU Saturday, helping propel the Chippewas to four straight wins. The six points came off three goals, pushing Camryn to 100 career points.
In Friday's 2-1 win over Colgate, Camryn recorded the game winning goal to break the 1-1 tie with just over two minutes remaining in regulation. She then struck twice in the Chippewas offensive showcase Saturday scoring goals three and seven in a 9-6 win over LIU.
Camryn led the team with 10 shots over the weekend, logging a .300 shot percentage, with six shots landing on goal for a .600 shot on goal percentage.
The last Chippewa to receive Player of the Week honors was Camryn. She received the award in 2024 after her first two games in the Maroon and Gold where she logged three goals against Saint Louis and Bellarmine.
Central Michigan returns to Mount Pleasant this Friday, Sept. 19, when Camryn and the Chippewas will celebrate International Students Day against James Madison to open conference play.
