Chippewas host first-time matchup with the Trojans, have two victories over current power-conference foes in Mount Pleasant since 2019
MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Central Michigan Lacrosse welcomes Southern California to the CMU Lacrosse Complex Monday (April 6, Noon ET) for the program's fifth power-conference matchup of 2026. Back to Mid-American Conference play next weekend at Youngstown State (April 11, Noon ET), then at Kent State (April 18, 1 p.m. ET), before returning for senior day against Akron (April 25, Noon ET).
PLAY FOR PATRICK – Southern California (April 6)
Another annual staple for Chippewa Lacrosse, Central Michigan will battle the Trojans in support of the Patrick Schoonover Heart Foundation. Founded by the family of CMU alumna Anna Schoonover '19, Play For Patrick aims to raise awareness of Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) in young athletes. Information on the foundation will be offered, along with Play For Patrick wristbands.
