Play Suspended Late in Round 2 at Tiger Intercollegiate

Yturralde, under par in second round, leads Chippewas
COLUMBIA, Mo. – Play was suspended by darkness late in the second round Monday of the Tiger Intercollegiate men's golf tournament at Old Hawthorne Golf Club.
Central Michigan posted a 299 team score in Monday's first round and was 19th in the 19-team field.
CMU's Aydan Downer, Keith Hunter and Jeffrey Andrus each shot a 4-over par 74 in the first round, while Philippe Yturralde shot a 7-over 77, and Hudson Vedder shot a 9-over 79.
Yturralde was at 1-under through 16 holes in his second round and is tied for 69th; Downer was a 5-over through 15 holes in his second round and is tied for 79th; Hunter, 7-over through 16 holes in his second round, is tied for 87th; Andrus, 8-over through 15 holes on his second round, is tied for 90th; and Vedder, 9-over through 16 holes in his second round, is 100th.
Veikka Viskari of host Missouri opened with a 2-under 68 and was at 5-under through 15 holes on his second round and leads the tournament at 7-under, one shot ahead of Ben Gratzl of Oral Roberts and Alvaro Pastor of Tarleton State, both of whom were, like the vast majority of players in the field, still on the course when play was halted on Monday evening.
The second round will resume on Tuesday at 9 a.m. (ET) followed by the final round.
