Chris Davis joined coach Keno Davis' Central Michigan staff as its video coordinator prior to the 2016-17 season.
Davis boasts a resumé that includes three decades of coaching experience, beginning at Western Michigan in 1986-87, when he served as a graduate assistant.
He has also worked as an assistant coach at Grand Valley State, Kent State, Western Michigan, Drake, Providence and UC Davis.
Davis helped UC Davis to the Big West Conference championship in 2014-15 and served under current CMU head coach Keno Davis at Providence and at Drake.
Chris Davis is a native of Jackson, Mich., and a graduate of Lumen Christi High School and Jackson Community College, from which he earned an associates degree.
Davis earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan and a master’s in sports administration from Western Michigan.
