2023 (Outdoor): Competed in the 400m, 4x400 relay and long jump at four meets … ran the 400m in 1:01.36 at MSU’s Spartan Invite (March 31) to place seventh and leaped 5.33m in the long jump for eighth … finished the 4x400 relay at Louisville’s Clark Wood Open (April 28-29) in 3:55.37.
2022-23 (Indoor): Competed in the 60m, 400m, distance medley and long jump events at six meets … ran the 60 in a personal record time of 8.20 at the GVSU Holiday Open (Dec. 9) … set a personal record of 59.33 in the 400m at the SVSU- Jet’s Pizza Invitational (Jan. 27-28) to place sixth … ran the 4x400 relay in 3:55.93 at Notre Dame’s Meyo Invitational (Feb. 3-4) … won the distance medley relay in 13:29.44 at the Jack Skoog Open (Jan. 21) … had a long jump of 5.42m at the Mid-American Conference Championships (Feb. 24-25).
2022 (Outdoor): Participated at five meets in the long jump and 200m … set a personal record in long jump with 5.44m at Louisville’s Clark Wood Invitational (April 29-30) … ran the 200m in a personal record time of 27.06 at MSU’s Spartan Invite (April 1-2) for a sixth-place finish.
2021-22 (Indoor): Competed in long jump at four meets … made a 5.33m leap at the Central Michigan Invitational (Jan. 14)
2021 (Outdoor) at Wheeling: Transferred to Central Michigan from NCAA II Wheeling University (WV) of the Mountain East Conference … collected three medals at the 2021 Mountain East Championships, winning the league’s long jump at 5.68 meters, finishing second in the 4x100 and third in the 400 meters in 58.20 seconds … won the long jump at the West Virginia University Last Chance meet (May 7-8) … swept three events at the West Liberty Invitational (April 3): the 200 meters, 4x400 and long jump.
2020-21 (Indoor) at Wheeling: Competed in three meets, in the 200, 400, 4x400 and long jump … collected five top-two finishes, winning the 400 meters twice at the Tiffin Dragon Invite (Feb. 5-6) and Brandi Bowen Memorial Invitational (March 13-14).
High School: Played at Tecumseh High School … Competed in cross country and track … CBC 400m and Long Jump Champion, Four-time Track Team MVP, OHSAA Division I Region Qualifier in 100m, 400m, and 4x4 … National Honors Society.
Personal: Daughter of Julie and Monty Rife … has a brother, Dylan … aspires to become an athletic trainer.
Why CMU?: “I chose CMU for the better schooling and track and field opportunities. I decided to take my chances and go big to challenge myself. I’ve made the closest friendships and greatest memories being a part of the track and field team. There’s no other place I’d want to get my degree at.”
