Harrison LaLone joined the Central Michigan University Athletic Communications staff in April 2023. He serves as the primary contact for soccer, women’s basketball and lacrosse, along with a secondary role with football.
Prior to joining CMU, LaLone served for three years at NCAA III powerhouse Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas, where he spent over two years as the assistant athletic director for sports communications. His role included direct involvement with all 18 varsity sports and he was responsible for nearly all creative/multimedia and print content for the athletic department.
LaLone served as a graduate assistant in the athletic communications department at then-NCAA II Southern Indiana where he earned a master of science in sport management. LaLone covered Screaming Eagles volleyball, tennis, golf, baseball and basketball programs. He also had a hand in multiple Great Lakes Valley Conference championship events and USI's host responsibilities for the 2019 NCAA II Men's Basketball Elite Eight.
A Mount Pleasant native, LaLone earned a degree in communication in 2018 from Alma College. He served in the Scots' athletic communications office as an undergrad and in 2018 he captured the Renner Award, which goes to the top student assistant in sports information at a Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association institution.
He was also a member of the Scots’ football program for three seasons as an offensive and defensive lineman. LaLone is a 2014 Shepherd High School grad.
