From 2020-2022, she served as an assistant coach for the ADK Field Hockey Club in Slingerlands, New York, where she coached several age groups and assisted the head coach in organizing and leading sessions.
Murray is a 2022 graduate of University of Albany, where she earned her Bachelor's degree in Sociology. She served as the vice-captain of the UAlbany Field Hockey program for the 2021 and 2022 seasons as a forward, helping the Great Danes to two America East Conference Tournament appearances, a 2022 America East Conference Tournament Championship, and through the Elite 8 of the 2022 NCAA Tournament.
She served as an orientation leader at UAlbany in 2021 and 2022, welcoming new students and their families to the university and mentoring new orientation leaders in public speaking, team building and leadership.
Prior to her time with the Great Danes, Murray played midfield and back for Old Dominion from 2018-2020, where she saw two full seasons of action with the Monarchs.
At ODU, Murray assisted with Field Hockey Clinics for children aged 10-17, coaching a series of camps to teach the fundamentals and advanced skills to youth field hockey players. She also served as a field hockey representative for leadership development within the ODU Athletics Department and was selected as a field hockey representative by the ODU Student-Athletic Advisory Committee (SAAC). In her role with the SAAC, she represented the field hockey program to build community relations, organize athletic events, and serve as the voice of the program for the development of athletics.
Murray attended St. Gerard's School in Dublin, Ireland where she earned four letters in field hockey and played for the Muckross Hockey Club. She led the St. Gerard's team in scoring as a senior captain and was named Hockey Player of the Year after leading the team to a Leinster Cup quarterfinal. The team appeared in the Leinster Cup Finals her sophomore and junior year. As a freshman, Murray was an All-Ireland qualifier as St. Gerard saw a Leinster Cup Championship win.
