Julia Bice was promoted to the position of director of creative content and assistant director of communications for Central Michigan Athletics in August 2023.
Bice serves as the primary contact for volleyball and softball while overseeing student assistants and leading the branding charge for CMU Athletics. As the department's creative content head, she oversees the creation of digital media for all team's social media.
Bice joined CMU athletic communications as a student assistant while she was a student-athlete for the Chippewas. She then served as a graduate assistant in the department. During her time at CMU, Bice has was s the communications contact for field hockey and lacrosse, women's soccer and her current two teams. Bice also has performed in the role of lead statistics coordinator for several teams as well as overseeing the dissemination on social media.
Bice earned a bachelor of arts degree with a major in sport management and a minor in league studies from CMU in April 2022 and her masters of arts in sport administration in December, 2024.
