Eric Pionk joined the Central Michigan Athletic Department as its Director of Ticket Operations in December 2021.

As part of his many duties, Pionk oversees Central Michigan's athletic ticketing operation that also includes school events.

Prior to joining his alma mater Central Michigan, Pionk worked nearly seven years with the Lansing Lugnuts minor league baseball team, most recently as the team's Ticket Operations Manager for 10 months from March-December 2021. Additionally, he served as the Lugnuts' Senior Manager of Sales and Ticket Services from 2018-20, Group Sales Manager from 2017-18, and Group Sales Representative from 2014-17.

He also has worked as an Account Executive with the Southern Illinois Miners baseball team in Marion, Ill. from 2012-14.

Pionk graduated from Central Michigan with a bachelor of applied arts degree in sports management in 2010.

An Ubly, Mich. native, he resides in Lansing, Mich. with his wife Marci.
