OXFORD, OH- The Central Michigan University field hockey team wrapped up the regular season with a 1-0 loss to Miami University on Saturday afternoon.
The Redhawks outshot the Chippewas 20-6 in the game but managed only one goal, the game winner, by Angela Snedden with 23:15 left to play.
Central goalie Janel Spero (Shoreham, NY/So.) made 15 saves in the loss.
The first round of the MAC Tournament begins on Friday, Nov. 3, in Athens, Ohio.
