Women's Track Wraps Up Drake Relay Competition

DES MOINES, Iowa -- The Central Michigan University women's track completed competition at the prestigious Drake Relays on Saturday.
Suzy Bozin led the way for the Maroon and Gold with a fourth-place jump of 5-8 in the high jump event.
Kari Karhoff competed in and placed fifth in the 400 meter hurdles. She finished with a time of 1:00.22.
CMU took seventh in the 4x800 meter relay. Competing in the relay were Erin Miner, Emili Karry, Brook Creed and Kristen Podein. The quad finished with a time of 9:03.57. The team finished behind Michigan (8:43.07), Iowa State (8:48.50), North Dakota State (8:53.74), Colorado State (8:59.37), New Hampshire (8:59.49) and Wisconsin-Oshkosh (9:01.54).
Melissa Brousseau rounded out the placings for Central. She competed in the hammer event, finishing 19th with a throw of 148-6.
