Women's Track Competes At Notre Dame

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Seven Central Michigan women's track athletes won their respective events at the Notre Dame Spring Invitational in South Bend, Ind., this afternoon.
Highlighting the top performers was Karen LeRoy's school-record performance in the steeplechase. LeRoy posted a time of 11:14.39 in the event.
Other top performers include: Brook Creed, who was first in the 3,000m (10:07.59), Abby Jaroscack, who was tops in the 100m hurdles (14:54), Kelli Kirchofer and her first-place showing in the high jump (5-5), Katie Davis, who was first in the shot put with a 43-1/2 effort, Jane Ludtke, who took first place with a 128-6 toss in the discus, and Tasha Reynolds, who was first in the javelin (132-4).
Fallon Bailey turned in a second-place performance in the 200m (25:63) while Davis was second in the discus with a throw of 120-5.
The women return to action at the USTCA Quad on April 13. The event is hosted by the University of Indiana in Bloomington, Ind.
