Moraw Named MAC Gymnast of the Week

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. - Central Michigan senior gymnast Halle Moraw was named the Mid-American Conference Gymnast of the Week after leading the Chippewas to a second-place finish Saturday at the Michigan vs. Illinois Classic last week.
Moraw came away with two individual victories. The senior captain won the vault with a career-best 9.875. She won the floor exercise with the same score.
The Clarkston native finished third on beam.
The Chippewas are 7-2 overall and 2-0 in the MAC. CMU will compete against Northern Illinois in a MAC meet Friday at 7p.m. at McGuirk Arena.
