Team GPA ranked 14th Nationally, 17 Gymnasts earn WCGA All-America Honors

CMU ranked 14th nationally with a 3.7737 team GPA.
PITTSBURGH, Pa. – Seventeen of Central Michigan Gymnastics' 2026 roster of 19 gymnasts have earned 2026 Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA) Scholastic All-America honors, the association announced on Wednesday.
Earning WCGA Scholastic All-America honors are Luciana Alvarado-Reid, Avah Bootz, Olivia Dittmer, Jenna Germond, Paige Hasling, Abby Izaks, Gabrielle Johnson, Lia Kmieciak, Alisia Murray, Heather Parker, Ashlyn Richards, Maeve Ruble, Kaitlyn Schwab, Samantha Shannon, Ava Wellmeier, Maylee Wendle and Zoe Zimmerman.
The Chippewas ranked 14th in grade-point average (GPA), with a team GPA of 3.7737 and 89.47% of CMU gymnasts receiving the honor. Hasling, Kmieciak, Ruble, Wendle and Zimmerman maintained a perfect 4.0 in the 2025-26 academic year.
Kmieciak is now a five-time honoree while Alvarado-Reid and Bootz have been honored for four consecutive years. Johnson and Shannon are now three-time honorees.
