Janowicz Named MAC Gymnast Of The Week

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. - Central Michigan's Kasey Janowicz was named the Mid-American Conference Gymnast of the Week after leading the Chippewas to a MAC win over Western Michigan on Sunday.

Janowicz, a freshman from Bay City, posted a 39.400 score, the highest recorded by a MAC gymnast this season.

Janowicz won the balance beam (9.900) and the floor exercise (9.900), and was second on vault (9.800). Her beam and floor scores matched her career-bests.

Janowicz has won the all-around in all eight of CMU's meets this season.
