CMU's Fitzpatrick Earns MAC Award

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. - Central Michigan's Caroline Fitzpatrick was named the Mid-American Conference Gymnastics Specialist of the Week for her performance in the Chippewas' league dual at Eastern Michigan on Thursday.
Fitzpatrick, a junior from New Canaan, Conn., finished first on balance beam, matching her career-best with a 9.900 score.
Fitzpatrick and the Chippewas will partake Saturday at 2 p.m. in the MAC Championships at Ball State in Muncie, Ind.
