7 CMU Gymnasts On MAC Academic Honor Squad

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. - Seven Central Michigan student-athletes were named to the Academic All-Mid-American Conference gymnastics team.
To be eligible for the team, a student-athlete must maintain a 3.2 or better grade point average and appear in at least 50 percent of her team's meets. True freshman and first-year transfers are ineligible.
The seven Chippewas named to the squad, with year, GPA and major: Taylor Bolender, senior, 3.27, exercise science; Rachel Carr, junior, 3.44, exercise science; Jordan Charrette, senior, 3.37, exercise science; Katy Clements, sophomore, 3.21, marketing; Caroline Fitzpatrick, junior, 3.51, exercise science; Bryttany Kaplan, sophomore, 3.92, commercial recreation; Megan Lamphere, senior, 3.71, therapeutic recreation.
Carr, Fitzpatrick and Lamphere are repeat honorees.
