Bustelo Joins CMU Gymnastics

All-Arounder is the first member of the class of 2020

MOUNT PLEASANT, MICH. – Central Michigan Gymnastics announced the signing of Adriana Bustelo today as the first member of the 2020 class.

Bustelo is an all-arounder from Mason, Ohio. She is a member of Cincinnati Gymnastics and attends Mason High School.

"We are so excited to have Adriana join our program," head coach Christine MacDonald said. "She has outstanding skills and a tremendous work ethic that makes her a great fit. Being a three-time national qualifier, she knows what it takes to perform at the highest level and be successful."

Bustelo is a three-time Level 10 national qualifier, finishing third in the state in the all-around in 2018. She was a regional beam champion in 2018 and also won a state floor title. Bustelo also took sixth in the all-around at regionals in 2016. She was a Level 9 Eastern Nationals qualifier, finishing third in the all-around.

Bustelo's parents are Mariluz Bustelo and Walter Bustelo.
