Pedrick Named MAC Gymnast Of The Week For 4th Time

Junior's 39.300 is best all-around score in MAC this season
MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Central Michigan's Denelle Pedrick has been named the Mid-American Conference Gymnast of the Week.
Pedrick, a junior from Wilcox, Sask., won the all-around in leading the Chippewas to a season-high 195.775 team score in a MAC dual-meet victory at McGuirk Arena over Bowling Green on Sunday.
Pedrick won the vault with a 9.900, the best score in the event by a Chippewa this season. She placed third on the floor exercise with a 9.850, third on the balance beam (9.850) and fourth on the uneven parallel bars (9.700). Pedrick's 39.300 all-around score was a season high, and the best this season by a MAC gymnast.
It marks the fourth time this season that Pedrick has earned the MAC Gymnast of the Week Award.
The Chippewas are 11-1 overall, 4-0 MAC, and go to Ball State on Sunday, March 3 in a league dual.
