Pedrick, Plaksa Earn All-MAC Honors

Both repeat as all-conference performers
MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Two Central Michigan gymnasts have earned All-Mid-American Conference honors for the 2019 regular season.
CMU junior Denelle Pedrick was named to the All-MAC First Team, while senior Gianna Plaksa earned a spot on the second team.
Pedrick, who hails from Wilcox, Sask., and Plaksa, from Mountain Top, Pa., were both named to the second team last season.
The All-MAC First Team comprises four gymnasts, while the second team comprises eight. Gymnasts are named to one of the two squads based on their respective National Qualifying Scores.
The Chippewas captured their second-consecutive MAC regular-season title by finishing 6-0 in league duals this season. They will attempt to repeat as the double champion on Saturday at the MAC Championships at Northern Illinois.
