54-hole event tees off on Sunday
MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – The Central Michigan golf team will begin play on Sunday in the John Kirk Panther Intercollegiate, hosted by Georgia State, at Eagles Landing Country Club in Stockbridge, Ga.
The 54-hole stroke-play event will be played over three days, concluding on Tuesday.
THE FIELD
Scheduled to join the Chippewas and host Georgia State are Albany, Eastern Washington, Samford, Jacksonville, Jacksonville State, Oral Roberts, South Florida, Florida Gulf Coast, Winthrop, Murray State, Louisiana Monroe, McNeese State, Towson and Appalachian State.
LAST TIME OUT
The Chippewas finished 13th in the Kingsmill Intercollegiate, hosted by William and Mary, in Williamsburg, Va.
NEXT
The Chippewas are scheduled to play next weekend at the Bowling Green State Dolores Black Falcon Invitational at Stone Ridge Golf Club in Bowling Green, Ohio.
