Laude, Colosky Lead Chippewa Golfers

Chippewas look to Bowling Green Invitational, and then MAC Championships
STOCKBRIDGE, Ga. – Jami Laude and Bria Colosky both shot 78 on Tuesday to lead the Central Michigan golf team in the final round of the 54-hole Georgia State John Kirk Panther Intercollegiate at Eagle's Landing Country Club.
The Chippewas are scheduled to play in the Bowling Green Dolores Black Falcon Invitational in Bowling Green, Ohio, next weekend and then are slated to partake in the Mid-American Conference Championships April 19-21 in Noblesville, Ind.
Also for the Chippewas on Tuesday, Meghan Deardorff shot 84, Danielle Sawyer posted an 86, and Holly Hines shot 87.
Laude finished with a 54-hole 240 total to finish among a group tied for 54th. Colosky finished at 250, Sawyer at 251, Hines at 254, and Deardorff at 261.
The Chippewas posted a 326 team score on Tuesday to finish in 16th place in the 16-team event with a 990 team score, six shots behind 15th-place McNeese State.
South Florida closed with a 294 to finish at 890 and win the event. South Florida's Natalia Villavicencio shot an even-par 72 on Tuesday to finish at 2-over 218 and claim medalist honors. Paula Vega of Jacksonville State was second, one shot back.
